Our first Little Urban Chef was a HUGE success!! Fantasia and the other volunteers helped our kids make banana nut muffins with cream cheese frosting - YUM!!!
The mission of Little Urban Chefs is to influence the diet of urban children by providing them with the skills they need to make wholesome yet yummy foods - a healthier version of what their normal diet consists of with affordable ingredients.
The cost of the 6-week program is $100 per child and includes the following:
room rentals
all ingredients and supplies
a Little Urban Chef for each participant
recipe cards and a recipe box at the end
a celebration dinner for friends and family on the last week
